The Sistas continue to celebrate 30 Years of Star Trek Deep Space Nine with Writer and Producer Ira Steven Behr.  Emmy and Hugo nominee Ira Steven Behr drops all sorts of juicy nuggets about Fame, thirty years of DS9, and the current Writer’s Strike.  

The Sistas were granted an interview by Paramount + with Yetide Badaki of Star Trek Strange New Worlds episode 202: Ad Astra Per Aspera. Yetide's performance as Civil Rights Attorney Neera Ketoul deems this episode an instant classic. The Sistas found a kindred soul, and the geek-out is palpable. 

The Sistas asked Matt Jennings from 1701: A Blerd Story to come and celebrate Pride Month with us. We talked about being Black Queer Nerds, being Blerds, being Trek Fans, and being True To Yourself. Happy Pride Everyone!  

The Sistas continue to celebrate 30 years of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine with the author of the highly anticipated, “The Autobiography of Benjamin Sisko” Derek Tyler Attico. Derek joined us for a live recording and we talked about his love of reading, writing and Benjamin Sisko/Benny Russell.  

Parammount+ granted us a pre-strike interview with Celia Rose Gooding following her starring role on the Strange New Worlds episode: "Lost in Translation." We sit down with the Grammy Award-winning actor to discuss her place in Trek canon and our collective hearts.    

Rico E. Anderson has been a true Brotha to the SyFy Sistas from jump. He is always hyping us up and thanking us for the work that we love to do. So we wanted to thank him for his continued support and finally get one of our favorite humans on the show. 

Scribe Award winner Dayton Ward joined the Sistas for a live recording at Shore Leave 43 on July 8, 2023. Dayton talked about his love of writing, his mom, current Trek, and his newest tie-in novel: "Star Trek Discovery: Somewhere To Belong." 

 The Sistas welcomed the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers’ Grandmaster, Keith DeCandido. If you have watched Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, Sleepy Hollow, Farscape, and Leverage, then Keith has written a tie-in story for it. 

"Without Star Trek Discovery, there is no SyFy Sistas." The Sistas welcomed Brandon Schultz to show. Brandon is the co-founder and Producer of Street Legends Ink. He wrote Blade: Blood Thirsty, Blokhedz Mission G, Star Trek Discovery, and Short Treks: The Girl Who Made the Stars.  

The Sistas welcome their favorite Whovian, Paul J. Salamoff, back to the show. They talk about 60 glorious years of Doctor Who: PBS to Disney, Doctors, Companions, the upcoming specials, and the new Doctor.
